Tucker’s Low Red fires a darker red than PHB and has a smooth, clean surface. While most commonly used as a throwing clay, Low Red is also frequently used by our customers for handbuilding.

Tucker’s 02-20G (Grog) handles more like a Stoneware than an Earthenware. Similar to 02-20, Tucker’s 02-20G has an addition of 5% fine grog to aid in drying. This improves its handbuilding properties without hindering its throwability.
