Lead times for out of stock Tucker’s clay bodies can vary between a few days and a few weeks (or more) based on where we are in the production schedule. We have “enabled back orders” on Tucker’s Clay which allows customers to add out of stock clay bodies to their order. A member of our staff will then be in touch with an estimated lead time.
Tucker’s Pro-Stone has been a staple for high fire production potters for years. It is a robust, trouble-free body that can be used for throwing and hand building. It contains a small amount of 35 mesh grog to aid in drying. This clay fires to a light tan at cone 10 oxidation and a warm tan at cone 10 reduction.
