Allows the use of 5 x 6 aluminum dies with the 9" clay extruder barrels. The adapter fits up into the expansion box portion of the barrel, and is held in place by (4) C-clamps. The Die Adapter inset is 1 /4" deep: it can only be used with die plates that are 1 /4" thick or less. *Please note: the Adjustable Slab Die cannot be used with the Die Adapter
