Paisley Scraper proves itself indispensable for sculpting, shaping, and refining leather hard clay. The tight inside radius is good for working around joints (for example, at the inside of a teapot spout.) It is available in three different edges:
Smooth

18 Teeth Fine
We like to use the teeth to remove and shape clay and then follow up with a Polymer Rib to smooth and polish.

Here is a rib that stands firm. Made of a heavier grade stainless steel, Mudtools Shape 7 Stainless Rib has less flexibility than some of the other ribs. The blunt end is good for carving away material or removing waste clay on the wheel.
