Gum CMC #7 Powder (Carboxy/Methyl Cellulose) is an organic cellulose gum which functions as a thickener, binder, and suspending agent in glazes. Usually added to glazes in amounts of less than 0.5%. Add to warm water to dissolve and age before adding to a liquid glaze.

NOTE: As an organic additive CMC and may grow bacteria and mold over time. Mix in small batches and use within 7-10 days.
