Copper Carbonate is a green powder used as a glaze or slip colourant. Depending on conditions and formulation it may produce green, blue-green or copper red (reds occurring most commonly in reduction firings). Copper Carbonate can also be applied with a brush as a wash on bisqueware.

NOTE: In its powdered form, copper carbonate is harmful if swallowed, and may cause skin and eye irritation upon contact. Use protective coverings when handling.
