Scheduled Maintenance Complete - Our Pugmill Is Back In Business !

In order to ensure the continued production of good quality clay we recently sent our main pugmill to the U.S. for a complete refurbishment.

Greetings to our wonderful customers! You all know that clay is the basis of everything you do as a potter. Although here at Tucker’s we sell in excess of 3800 different items, we also know that quality clay is the basis of what we do.

In order to ensure the continued production of good quality clay we recently sent our main pugmill to the U.S. for a complete refurbishment. Although we regularly replace wearable parts it was time for a major overhaul. This has been in the planning stages for almost a year. We had hoped the pugmill would be out of production for no more than two weeks and that proved to be correct.

The pugmill arrived back here this morning and our great clay production team will be blending clay tomorrow morning.

I would also like to thank those of you that have been so patient about the delay in receiving your clay. We only ran short of two bodies but they should be back in stock this week.
