The Bailey ST Potter's Wheel is a compact pottery wheel for throwing clay, with outstanding value. Like all Bailey pottery wheels, the ST is quiet and smooth. It offers the unique Bailey 2-piece removable splash/trim pan. No other splash pan holds as many trims and slops, is sturdier, or easier to remove and engage. Unlike other economy potter's wheels that have flimsy frames and light weight construction, the Bailey ST potter's wheel has the same rock solid T-Bar tubular braced frame as our professional pottery wheels. The Bailey ST potter's wheel is designed to work with Bailey's leg extensions (see Related Products below) to provide the perfect wheelhead height so you can throw clay with correct posture.

The Model ST potter's wheel has a reversing plug and comes with a reinforced 12" aluminum wheelhead. The Bailey ST wheel has a 1" drive shaft with commercial grade ball bearings and uses the same motor and controller as our ST-X potter's wheel. It has 3 drive belts instead of 4 (as on our other ST and PRO pottery wheel models), but it is still capable of centering up to 50 lb.of clay with a "less aggressive" centering approach. The ST potter's wheel is compact (21" high x 22.5" wide x 25.5" long). Shipping weight: 93 lbs.

Largest Removable Splash/Trim Pan- Holds more trims and slop than any other 2-piece splash pan. This prevents clay trimmings from falling onto the floor and getting trampled into dust. In addition, it's large enough to place your water bucket inside the Pan so all drips are contained. The Bailey 2-Piece Pan is made of extra heavy plastic and is easy to remove and install. 

Rock Solid Frame- Bailey's innovative 'T-Bar' Girder is welded to the legs midway down the frame providing unprecedented stability even when centering large amounts of clay. The solid structure of the frame eliminates the need for extra bracing when using Leg Extensions. (See 'Related Products' below.)
