Spectrum's 800 Series Low Fire Semi-Transparent glazes create a semi-transparent glossy finish and are designed to pool inside the indentations of your pieces to show off your detail work. All 800 series glazes are lead-free, dinnerware safe and non-toxic. 

The final appearance of the glaze is dependent on firing temperature, glaze thickness and the composition of the clay body being used. The thicker the glaze is applied, the darker and more opaque the finish will be. For true semi-transparent results we suggest you use a thinner application (1-2 coats).
