The 1460 series of Spectrum Semi-Transparent Celadon glazes create a semi-transparent high gloss finish and are designed to pool inside the indentations of your pieces to show off your detail work. All 1460 series glazes are lead-free, dinnerware safe and non-toxic.
The final appearance of the glaze is dependent on firing temperature, glaze thickness and the composition of the clay body being used. The sample shown has 3 coats of glaze brushed on a white clay and is fired to cone 5 in an electric kiln.
