Spectrum’s Ash glazes are designed to be layered with other cone 6 glazes. These glazes will run slightly, gathering oxides from the underlying glaze and re-distributing them across the curves of your pot. The combination will add the feeling of motion and texture and reveal interesting colours and effects.

Application Tips: Brush 2 flowing coats of your underlying glaze on the entire piece. Apply 1 thin coat of the Ash Glaze to the rim or shoulder of your piece for an ash like effect.
